"Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!" This is what you will say to admirers of this awesome '66 Super Sport Clone as they are trying to figure out if this is the real deal. This re-creation has about everything a real SS would have; big Block, 12 Bolt Rear, Gauges, etc., right down to the "period" American Racing Original Torque Thrust wheels. With a ground-up restoration, everything on this Chevelle is new and in working order. An added plus is that you can drive it anywhere!

Highlights:

Exterior
The car was completely disassembled and stripped down to the bare metal. Any rust found was properly cut out and replaced with new metal. The car was then block sanded numerous times, painted with Dupont 99K Black, clear coated, sanded with 2500 paper and finally buffed to perfection. All body and paint work was performed by a professional painter. Every square inch of the car was prepared and painted. All bright work is in excellent condition.

Interior
The entire interior is brand new. The car is a bucket seat car without a console. During the resto, the owner made sure the shifter exited the floor in the factory location so a stock console would fit. Full factory style gauges, Auto Meter tach with shift light and Hurst shifter.

Engine and Driveline
The H.O. GMPP Crate 502 with 450 HP, 550 foot pounds torque and the Richmond 5-Speed transmission makes this Chevelle really move! Parts include: Holley Red electric fuel pump, Holley Avenger 770 CFM carburetor, MSD Pro-Billet HEI distributor, Powermaster alternator, Center Force flywheel, Hays clutch assembly, Lakewood bell housing with block saver plate, Moroso oil pan, powder coated Hooker Super Comp headers, Full 3" Flowmaster exhaust system (looks like stock, but much larger), Rear end and suspension include a powder coated Bill Scribner 12 Bolt housing with Ford ends (no 'C' clips), 33 spline Trutrac Posi unit, Moser 33 spline axles and 3.08 gears. QA1 adjustable rear shocks. Optima Red Top Battery.

Wheels and Tires
15X7 American Racing Original Torque Thrust wheels in front and 15X8.5s in the rear. 225/70R 15 BFG T/As in front and 15X8.5 275/60 15 BFG Drag Radials in the rear.
